Childhood is about carefree play, but even kids have to move their crap out of the way sometime. Perhaps looking to lay down the law in a stylish way, Torafu Architects designed the koloro-wagon, which converts three stackable wooden baskets into a multi-tiered cart.
The koloro-wagon is really cleverly designed so the hinged handles of the baskets lean in at 45 degrees for easy carrying and then stand straight at 90 degrees to support another tier of basket on top for the cart arrangement. To turn the stack of baskets into a cart you put two sets of wheels and axles into grooves in the bottom basket. The cart was designed for furniture maker Ichiro. A fun strategy for putting kids to work around the house. Honestly, it's about time. [Spoon & Tamago]
