CLP Automotive BMW M3 GT 'Interceptor'

13 Sep 2011 | BMW, Motorsport | 5 views

The German tuners from CLP Automotive wanted to create an ultimate racecar and they?ve turned an M3 GTS into their own BMW M3 GT racer called ?Interceptor?. First, they?ve completely modified the car?s exterior look with a wide body kit made of carbon fiber elements that?s priced at ?just? 8,880 EUR.

The wide body kit consists of a new front bumper fascia, new hood, fenders with lower leg vents, side skirts, flared quarter panels, a new rear wing and a rear bumper fascia as well, making this M3 a lot more aggressive than it normally is. Next, the car received a special Bilstein race suspension and a pair of racing wheels sized 9?19? up front and 12?19? in the back with central locking.

Engineers from CLP also worked their magic under the hood and they?ve installed a compressor that will take this car?s power to 600 PS/592 hp together with an ECU remap and a new Akrapovic titanium exhaust system. The interior also received a special roll-cage from Wiechers and lightweight Recaro bucket seats.

Turning a regular M3 GTS into the CLP Automotive BMW M3 GT ?Interceptor? will cost you 69,000 EUR.
