d) In fairy tales, the Ordinary World will just disappear, and this is the case: their village is flattened.

e) There is a guardian of the threshold in the form of Salim, which prevents Latika to get on the train. The Guardian threshold is exceeded ? Jamal calls hisin

f) Salim plays multiple roles archetypal there, but it is majorly the Shape Shifter, first see the hero and then hinders him until he comes around eventually.

g) The hero and his allies (Shapeshifter, brother) first foray into the threshold of the New World, the landfill, the physically, but mentally the state of homelessness and orphanage.

h) A guardian of the threshold is higher must be met in the form of mammal that must be overcome before the boys' companies candeeper into the New World.

i) The Road of Trials is their learning curve on the trains and the Taj Mahal. The acquired skills are highlighted here ? Jamal grows until he is able to lead his brother back to Mumbai in search of Latika.
